The Upcoming 2014 Chevrolet SS

We’ve certainly had our fair share of front-wheel-drive vehicles and it’s really hard stealing plastic dinner trays from the cafeteria just so we can slide the back of her Honda Civics around the parking lot. Americans need V-8 engines, manual transmissions, and rear-wheel-drive. If you give us this formula then there’s no need for a Facebook campaign to spend a fortune on only to back out. If you just tell the American public that a lot of horsepower and smoking tires is coming to you for a nominal price then you will have more social media campaigning done by grease monkeys like myself that you will need waste your money trying to coax an EMO kid into purchasing a Chevy Sonic.

So looks like this 2014 Chevrolet SS will once again grab the attention of fathers that were blatantly wasting their money on their kids college tuition. Make your kids earn scholarships because you need to have at least 450 hp at your command. It looks as though Chevrolet will be bringing the Chevrolet SS platform from our friends down under. Just like the Camaro being built on a Holden chassis, will probably see the same chassis set up or something similar as well as shared parts from the Camaro. This could be Chevrolet answer the modern muscle cars as Ford is looking to totally rework the exterior of the upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang.

So if this is the case for the Chevrolet SS 2014 they will probably see 6.2 L V-8 engine that shared in the Camaro yet it may have a couple new tricks up its sleeve in engine design therefore producing more efficiency and horsepower. There are also more likely be a V6 version will probably have the 3.6 L producing around 325-350 hp. As for the styling for the upcoming Chevrolet SS, we will see a more rounded design therefore producing a lower drag coefficient. This will more likely resemble one of the current Aussie models available. Therefore I posted up some pics of what I hope this vehicle will look like. Because if they deliver these looks then I will certainly be saving my money in order to put a deposit down. Hopefully Chevrolet will also try to keep the weight down on the upcoming Chevrolet SS because we all know the Camaro has a thyroid problem and can’t stop eating.
