Nissan has been caught in a design rut where it needed fresh faces in order
to attract fresh faces. The company continually delivers contemporary designs
and by doing so have left the company in need of constant design changes in
order to stay trendy baby. The 2013 and 2014 model years Nissan will be
introducing several redesigned vehicles into the lineup. The biggest news of
course was the 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan that seems to look like you took an old
Altima and given a facelift stretching the eyebrows back to the point to where
the vehicle was incapable of showing emotion. Nissan is working to deliver more
efficiency throughout its entire lineup and by doing so they have produced
designs that all utilized more aerodynamic properties therefore lowering the
drag coefficient. The problem with doing this new design change is that it is
turned the once brute Nissan Pathfinder into a mama’s boy. For the 2013 Nissan
Rogue we are seeing some fresh new lines that are delivering a sleeker overall
vehicle.
The 2013 Nissan Rogue start being delivered in the fall of 2012 and according
to Nissan will be based heavily upon the Hi-Cross concept the result of the 2012
Geneva International Auto Show. These Rogues’s will offer front-wheel and
all-wheel-drive versions of the vehicle. The powertrain looks to be a 2.5 L
four-cylinder with direct injection, variable-valve-timing and duel-overhead
cams therefore producing 182 hp and 180 pound feet of torque. For the
transmission on the Nissan Rogue the Nissan is looking to produce the same CVT
transmission that will come in the Nissan Altima. Nissan claims that this
transmission provides up to 40% less friction than the previous model therefore
causing much better fuel efficiency. If calculated right then the new Nissan
Rogue 2013 should be able to receive up to 35 miles per gallon on the Highway
therefore making it a great competitor to the upcoming and popular Mazda
CX-5.
One thing is for certain and that is that the 2013 Nissan Rogue certainly looks
better than its predecessor. Nissan appears to be trying to find the right
balance offering you juristic and contemporary designs yet being subtle enough
to draw in more buyers. The Nissan Rogue is in a continually growing and
competitive field therefore the companies to be able to deliver a great looking
compact crossover that can deliver fuel efficiency as well as all the amenities
we have come to expect. Speaking of expect, the 2013 Rogue to become much more
popular model than the previous version because many more individuals are
finding this vehicle more attractive and if it can deliver 35 miles per gallon
on the highway with the option of all-wheel-drive then we should see pretty
substantial sales coming from Nissan. Now if they will only introduce the Nissan
Xterra.
