We've already heard rumors that BMW is developing a 4-Series Gran Coupe, but
new details are starting to emerge about the model.
According to Auto Express, the car will be a four-door coupe that will
bridge the gap between the 3- and 5-Series. It will follow the same basic
formula as the 6-Series Gran Coupe, so expect it to be based off the 4-Series
coupe but have a longer-wheelbase and two rear doors.
Engine options will carryover from the standard model, so expect petrol
choices to include a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 184 PS (135 kW /
181 bhp) and 245 PS (180 kW / 241 bhp) as well as a 3.0-liter inline-six with
320 PS (235 kW / 315 bhp).
If everything pans out, the model will be launched late next year and cost
approximately £30,000 ($47,175 / €37,300).
