The Chevy Trax is not due to come to the United States but don’t worry fans
of useless vehicles, because we will get the Buick Encore instead. Both of these
vehicles will be manufactured in General Motors South Korea facility with that
Chevy Trax being sold in around 140 countries. These vehicles will offer
five-passenger seating and resemble a Fiat 500 on steroids. General Motors is
looking to capitalize on small crossovers that can compete in the growing
market. I myself don’t understand it, because it seems like a car big enough to
be less efficient as well as offer nothing much as a means of versatility when
it comes to going off-road. But in order to boost economy General Motors is
going to place their Ecotec 1.4 L Turbo though produce around 140 hp and 150
lb-ft of torque. Other markets will probably also see a normally aspirated 1.6 L
as well as the 1.7 L diesel. I highly doubt the Buick Encore will have them
available diesel option because for some reason we supposedly a diesel.
Looking at as the Buick Encore concept it looks as though the interior will
be well-dressed out. There’ll be a 7 inch LCD touch screen that offers Bluetooth
connectivity and voice activation. US market will have the rearview backup
camera as well as an integrated USB port. The Chevy Trax 2013 and Buick
Encore 2013 look to share similarities such as 18 inch alloy wheels that come
standard for certain levels. There is also more likely is the option for
all-wheel-drive in both the Chevy Trax and Buick Encore. For seating
arrangements it looks as though the 2013 Chevrolet Trax in your will go the
extra step making even the front passenger seat fold flat therefore giving extra
room for long items or even if you end up having to sleep in the vehicle. For
safety there will be 10 standard airbags in the vehicle as well as options for
frontal collision warning systems and lane departure warning systems.
As the Chevy Trax 2013 vehicles come out for sale I’m sure General Motors will
be seeing sales as individuals look to downsize their vehicles as well as
elderly looking for efficient vehicles that are easy to get into as well as
offer a raised view from the driver seat. As far as efficiency standards not
sure what these vehicles will produce on the Highway although I’m sure it’s at
least in the low 30s with the 1.4 L Ecotech engine and as far as the diesel goes
I am sure that it will produce impressive highway miles simply because America
will not get it.
